Beechnut Family Campground is nestled near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just a few minutes drive from Mount Airy, North Carolina, better known as Mayberry home of Andy Griffith. We are located just one mile off of Interstate 74, and only four miles off Interstate 77. This Campground was formerly known as Mount Airy Church of God Campground & Park.
Our well maintained family campground is convenient to Mayberry, Pilot Mountain, antique and craft shops, trout fishing, and churches; plus many other points of interest.
We will be happy to assist you in discovering the numerous attractions in the Blue Ridge Parkway-- Mount Airy-Mayberry area.
AMMENTITIES INCLUDE: We have large shaded sites for all types of camping - Full hook-ups, water and electric, and tenting areas. Our campground which is near the Blueridge Park Way, is in a natural area with ponds just outside of each site.
We are convenient to Mayberry, Pilot Mountain, hiking trails, trout fishing, churches, golf, and many other attractions.
No matter what your plans are while visiting our area, we know you will enjoy your camping time here in our lovely wooded campground.
We take pride in keeping our restrooms clean and the grounds well maintained. Each site has a picnic table and an area to build a campfire.
For our campers entertainment, we have three swimming pools, volleyball court and three fishing ponds.
