Whether you stay a day or a week you're sure to be comfortable in this cozy mountain cabin, located in the foothills of Virginia about 10 miles from Andy Griffith's home town of Mayberry, N.C. Here you will find serenity, seclusion, the beauty of a mountain sunrise all packaged with the conveniences of home. Guests can explore the 75-acre grounds on any one of several walking trails or by 4-wheeler, or just kick back with a fishing pole and do a little stream fishing. Also available for your enjoyment is horseshoes, volleyball or just relaxing in the hot tub. The property is also available for reunions, camping retreats, family gatherings and other special occasions. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, living area with a queen sleeper sofa, and one bath. The cost is $110 with single night stay, $100 with 3-night stay, and $90 with 7-night stay. We have added an additional cabin , it sleeps 10 and rents for $150.00 per night, $140.00 with a 3-night stay and $130.00 with a 7-night stay. Cash and checks are accepted. Check-in is at 2 p.m. Check-out is at 11am. Reservations are required. Amenities include: towels, bed linens, all kitchen appliances, outdoor grill, and satellite television.
