Homeplace Recreational Park, Inc. has Surry County's largest swimming pool and a separate diving pool, rope swing, waterslide, and carpeted kiddy play area. The park also has a video gameroom with two pool tables, air hockey, pinball and video games. Visitors can play volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, go fishing and play 18-hole minature golf. A playground is also available for the kids. Camp sites can be reserved April through November with daily, monthly and sesaonal rates. There are 150 campsites with full hook-ups (50 amp sites avaiable). Phones, picnic tables, ice machine, dump station, group picnic shelter, coin laundry, drink machine and a snack bar (open Memorial Day through Labor Day) are available. The scenic attractions include an old mill pond, 1865 log farm house, waterfalls and hiking trails. Mount Airy is 8 miles away, while Pilot Mountain is 5 miles away from the park.Primitive and full-hook up sites available. Call 336-374-5173 for more information.

Directions:From Mount Airy at the intersection of US 52 and NC 601: South 601 for 1 mile. East on Old NC 601 for 1.25 miles then left on Siloam Road for 2 miles. Left on Little Mountain Church Road for 2.5 miles to Homeplace Park Road on right.

From Pilot Mountain US 52 North to Cook School Road: Exit, then left across US 52 for 200 yards. Bear right onto Old US 52 North for 1.25 miles. Turn left on Ararat Road for 4 miles, then right on Little Mountain Church Road for 1 miles to Homeplace Road on left.

From I-74 at exit 13 (both Northbound and Southbound): At end of exit ramp turn right for 1/2 mile to stop sign. Left on Siloam Road for 1 mile. Left on Little Mountain Church Road for 2.5 miles to Homeplace Park Road on right.
