The Mayberry Motor Inn is nestled on about 10 acres of land featuring beautiful grounds. A gazebo off Fife Street awaits guests so they can catch a view of Pilot Mountain in the sunset or watch the birds at play. The 27 rooms are tastefully decorated. Guests can walk along Thelma Lou’s trail and enjoy the flowers when in season.
A continental breakfast is offered. Andy Griffith and Donna Fargo memorabilia adorns the Inn’s office. Guests can also enjoy a window view of Aunt Bee’s room from the Frances Bavier’s estate. A 1963 Ford squad car and Emmet’s fix it truck is sitting in the driveway of the Inn. There are no strangers at the Mayberry Motor Inn – only friends who haven’t met yet.
Room rates are $48.00 to $78.00. Check-in time is 2 p.m. and Check-out is 11 a.m. All major credit cards are accepted.
