OLD-TIME DANCE with the SLATE MOUNTAIN RAMBLERS – Saturday, November 7th
The Surry Arts Council is pleased to present an old-time dance on the first Saturday of every month in the Old-Time Music Hall (below the Andy Griffith Museum in Mount Airy). Popular old-time dance band The Slate Mountain Ramblers will provide the music for the November 7th dance. Led by Richard and Barbara Bowman, The Slate Mountain Ramblers have become a mainstay at regional fiddler’s conventions and dances. For over 20 years, they have been entertaining folks and winning awards, most recently at the Mount Airy Fiddlers Convention. The evening starts at 7:00 pm and admission is $5.
