WATER COLOR EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY FROM Until NOVEMBER 14, 2009
She has taken her subjects from local life in her Appalachian home both now and in the past. Reflecting an appreciation of nature and heritage , most of her paintings are still life or landscapes, most of which feature native flowers and animals. The exhibit will be on display from Now– November 14th with open house hours on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11 – 4 PM.
The Gertrude Smith House is located at 708 North Main Street, right next to the First Baptist Church. Parking is available on Elm Street and at the back of the house.
