Andy Griffith Playhouse
This exciting project, funded in part by a grant from the NC Arts Council, is permitting Surry County children to meet each week at the Andy Griffith Playhouse for free lessons in fiddle, banjo, guitar, and mandolin. Jim Vipperman is leading the teaching effort. With this project, the music of our area is being promoted and preserved through our children.
