Windsor Run Cellars

Located in the Swan Creek wine region, Windsor Run Cellars is the only winery in North Carolina with a working distillery and meadery under the same roof. The winery crafts several wines fortified with brandy using its still. Windsor Run Cellars also sell wines from another family owned vineyard about 7 miles up US 421 called Ferguson Vineyards.

A month-long honeymoon in the south of France in 1996 changed the lives of the couple that own Hanover Park Vineyard. The wines at Hanover Park Vineyard have an old-world feel, which as the first bonded winery in Yadkin County since prohibition. The front porch offers a great spot for relaxing and sipping a glass of Michael’s Blend or Mourvedre.

Brandon Hills Vineyard

Cellar 4201

Cellar 4201 makes hand-crafted batches over large mass-produced mono wines. They only produce 900 to 1,000 cases of wine each year and concentrate on small-scale operations to produce one-of-a-kind wines, which shows in their bold flavors. They harvest all their grapes by hand to control quality and produce quality fruit through extensive pruning.

Dobbins Creek Vineyards

Dobbins Creek Vineyards and winery sits atop a hill overlooking spectacular views. On clear days, you can see the buildings of Winston-Salem state and the top of Grandfather Mountain. The porch of the tasting room is always cool and breezy, which makes for a great stop for wine and conversation.

Laurel Gray Vineyards

The Laurel Gray Vineyard farmland has been in the same family for over ten generations. The winery is a boutique-style winery owned by descendants of Joseph Myers, the gardener for England’s Queen Charlotte. The winery is surrounded by an 84-acre farm along with a flower and herb garden.

Jones vonDrehle Vineyards & Winery

Jones vonDrehle Vineyards & Winery is one of the newest wineries in the Yadkin Valley. The winery grows Chardonnay, Viognier, and Petit Manseng. Their white varieties include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. They also grow Grenache and Mourvedre for production of their two Rose wines.
