Beechnut Family Campground is located just a few minutes from downtown Mount Airy off of Interstate 75 and four miles from Interstate 77. Beechnut Family Campground has water and electric hook-ups along with tenting areas for tent campers.
The campground has three fishing ponds and a volleyball court. There are three swimming pools along with the Hurricane Hazel water slide. Overnight and day passes are available.
