The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History is located in downtown Mount Airy in a restored mercantile store. The museum has exhibits of some of Mount Airy’s most-famous musicians, such as Andy Griffith, Tommy Jarrell, and Donna Fargo. The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History is open 7 days a week, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday- Saturday and Sundays 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Groups should call ahead to arrange for a guided tour.
