Rocky Forest River Run is a Kayak, Canoe and Tube outfitter in Elkin who welcome everyone to come paddle with RFRR and enjoy the Yadkin River's winding journey through Wilkes, Surry and Yadkin counties. They offer 2 - 6 hour trips via sit in or sit on top kayaks, as well as canoes and tubes on Friday afternoons, Saturdays & Sundays.

Rocky Forest River Run is owned and operated by a local couple who have always enjoyed the water. They offer kayaking, canoeing, and tubing, with shuttle service, on 2 to 6 hour trips. Choose from kayaking, canoeing or tubing! They offer rentals as well as shuttle service for those who have their own boats/tubes. Each self-guided rental includes a boat of choice, paddle or oars, and a PFD. For those who enjoy fishing, bring your rods and reels on the trip! There are a few shoals along the way that create some fun on your trip! Don't forget to watch for wildlife, including birds, ducks, herons, geese, and turtles! They are open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Call for reservations!
