Built in 1923-24 and set in a residential neighborhood, the Six28 House is located just 3/4 of a mile from downtown Historic Elkin, in the heart of the Yadkin Valley and nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Six28 House is a small, full service, 2 bedroom (with a 3rd on it's way) Bed and Breakfast located less than a mile from the town center of Elkin. The Bed & Breakfast is in a near 100 year old home. Each room is double occupancy, has a queen size bed with a rollaway offered for fee to accommodate an additional guest.
Unlike AirBnB's, Six28's rooms and kitchen are inspected by the board of health. Chef Keith is a classically trained chef who prepares fresh baked welcome plates for each room upon arrival and does breakfast a la minute, from a seasonal menu.
This stately, traditional home with lots of character, boasts many of its original features along with an inviting wrap-around porch which welcomes all to sit back, relax and stay a while. Enter the home into a spacious foyer with high ceilings, pinewood floors, craftsman style trim and moldings, and beautiful French doors that open into the common areas of the home.
