The 53rd Annual Blue Grass & Old-Time Fiddlers Convention celebrates Surry County's place as the center of the old-time music genre. Established in 1972, the Blue Grass & Old-Time Fiddlers Convention is centered on favorite old-time tunes, and bluegrass ballads as well as dance.

This year, the beloved event will be held June 6th - 7th. With two full days of competition, this family-friendly event includes jam sessions, dancing, singing, education, and family entertainment. Winners of the solo and band competitions will be awarded cash prizes.

Friday starting at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m.

Admission Info -

Friday:  $10 wristband for admission to park

Saturday:  $10 wristband for admission to park

Campers:  $20 wristband good for the entire event

Contestants:  $20 ($10 refunded Saturday after performance)

Camping Info -

$35 per day for full hook-up campers plus an additional $20 for a parking pass, and a wristband that is good for the whole week

$10 per day for tents (only) and no full hook plus an additional $20 for the week-long wristband and a parking pass.

Advance reservations must be for the full week and include the wristband fees.
