Lebanon Street in Mount Airy FRIDAY 11:00 AM - BANJO WORKSHOP – ANDY EDMONDS FRIDAY 12:00 NOON - SURRY COUNTY OLD-TIME MUSIC DEMONSTRATION Jim “Vip” Vipperman will facilitate a demonstration featuring NC Folk Heritage Award Winner Verlen Clifton with Wes Clifton, Andy Edmonds, Chester McMillian, Jacob Bowen, Richard Bowman, Barbara Bowman, Marsha Todd, Frank Bode and others. FRIDAY 1:00 PM - FLAT FOOTIN’/TRADITIONAL DANCE WORKSHOP – AARON RATCLIFFE Aaron Ratcliffe, award winning dancer, will lead the workshop. Richard and Barbara Bowman and others will accompany. FRIDAY 2:00 PM - SURRY COUNTY OLD-TIME FIDDLE WORKSHOP - RICHARD BOWMAN FRIDAY 3:00 PM - SURRY COUNTY OLD-TIME FROLIC - ANDY EDMONDS Jam, dance and enjoy old-time music. Come prepared to play and dance. Andy Edmonds will lead the Surry County good times. All musicians welcome! This project receives support from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
