There's even an event for the kids to celebrate the New Year early! - New Year’s Eve at JOLO – 11:30am-3:30pm, JOLO Winery & Vineyard – Celebrate New Year’s Eve early with JOLO wine tastings and special holiday tapas offerings. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (336)614-0030 or [email protected] - New Year’s Eve Celebration – 5:30pm-until, Harvest Grill at Shelton Vineyards and The Barn at Heritage Farm – Dress to impress and celebrate New Year’s in style at Shelton Vineyards. Enjoy the special menu Chef Paul has prepared for the evening and then head over to The Barn at Heritage Farm to dance the night away. Doors open at 9:30pm for the dance party. There will be a shuttle running to and from The Barn at Heritage Farm. Tickets for the dance available, packages with dinner, dancing and lodging also available. This year, there will be 2 options to choose from when deciding how to celebrate the New Year. -Dinner and Event Package: Three course dinner at Old North State Winery, Choice of 6pm seating or 8:30pm seating. $75 per person, includes free admission to Kids New Year or 21+ museum event. Champagne toast at midnight! $25 per person (without dinner package purchase) Purchase individual Museum event tickets at http://northcarolinamuseum.org/ or call 336-786-4478. - New Year’s Eve Raise the Roof and Drop the Ball – 6pm-12:30pm, Cross Creek Country Club – The Greater Mount Airy Habitat for Humanity presents the first annual Raise the Roof and Drop the Ball Celebration on New Year's Eve. Come celebrate the completion of our 50th Habitat Home with an evening of dinner and dancing. The cost is $50 per person includes dinner, entertainment, and a champagne toast at midnight. A cash bar will also be available. Doors open at 6 pm. A buffet dinner featuring chicken, beef, and pork will be served from 7 pm to 9 pm. The live music from the 12 piece band Sleeping Booty will begin at 8:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the ReStore located at 217 S. Free party hats, buffet and a champagne toast at midnight. $5 per person, $8 per couple. - New Year’s Eve Party – 8pm-12:30am, Cedarbrook Grille (Cedarbrook Country Club, 225 Country Club Dr, State Road, NC) – Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Cedarbrook! Ticket includes hor d’oeuvres buffet, champagne toast at midnight, cash bar and Beach, Dance & Rock ‘n Roll Music by Phatt City. Tickets are $85 per couple or $45 per single. Tickets are $15 per person, $25 per couple. - New Year’s Eve Celebration – 9:30pm-12:30am, Reeves Theater (Downtown Elkin) – Ring in the New Year at the newly renovated Reeves Theater with live music by the Reeves House Band. Admission is $10 per person, or $15 per person with champagne toast at midnight. - Mayberry Sheriff Badge Raising – 11pm, Mount Airy Museum of Regional History – Countdown to the New Year with the Annual Mayberry Sheriff Badge Raising and free family-friendly entertainment in the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History courtyard just before midnight. Music from Going Dutch will start at 11pm.
