Scoops Ice Cream & Such is a hidden gem in a rural area of Surry County, yet located close to I-77, just off of Hwy 89 (W. Pine Street). Scoops is home to a unique ice cream parlor in a converted camper van, with plenty of seating on multiple levels of patio, decorated with beautiful metal sculptures created by artist and Scoops' owner Chazz Elstone. Grab a sundae or ice cream cone and take a stroll through the sculpture garden in the trees, located across the yard from the ice cream parlor. You will be delighted at the unique and symbolic art located on the nature path that meanders through the forest, complete with a beautiful forest chapel! Scoops is open seasonally, April through September on Wednesday through Saturday from 12 to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 2 to 9 p.m. Located on Rt. 89, just west of I- 74 (exit 6) and I-77 (exit 100) in Mount Airy, NC!
